Astrology
Pumpkin Hollow has its own unique Zodiac based on the seasons and the goddesses that represent them. There's a strong emphasis on cusps and what part of the season you are born in impacting the strength of your alignment to your sign, and it is used in tandem with other zodiacs by some. What's your sign?
Spring | Serranai
March 20 - June 20
Renewal, Fertility, Earth, Motivation
Those born under this sign are generally thought to be optimistic and gregarious, ‘planting seeds’ or connections with others easily. They are also considered to have a productive mindset. Once a Spring sign sets their mind on a goal, they tend to achieve it eventually. However they can very easily get swept up in excitement about new projects and take on more than they should. Much like Serranai herself, many Springs are artistic, outdoorsy, and tend to have green thumbs.
Summer | Kora
June 21 - September 20
Growth, Prosperity, Sea, Adventure
Summer is the sign of excitement, passion, boldness, and revelry! Summers are believed to embody all the force and power of the mighty sea, from tempest maelstroms to endless horizons to thriving and beautiful life. They tend to be fearless leaders, passionate lovers, loyal friends, risk-takers, and even adventurous eaters. They also have been known to be susceptible to the occasional bout of wanderlust.
Autumn | Celestine
September 21 - December 20
Bounty, Achievement, Moonlight, Learning
Those born under the sign of the goddess of Autumn and Sky are often depicted as having their head in the clouds or their nose in a book. Studious and indoorsy, Autumns tend to spend their time expanding their knowledge and honing their skills. They tend to be voracious readers or dedicated craftspeople. It is also believed that Autumns are often uniquely blessed in the kitchen, pick up new skills very quickly, do well in their chosen fields, and are usually night owls.
Winter | Mortanne
December 21 - March 19
Tranquility, Preparation, Spirits, Reflection
Winter-born folks are a strange sort, as one might expect for those who are born under the sign of the goddess of death. They arrive into the world at the bleakest time of year, a unique blessing in those cold and dreary months, bringing light to a darkened world. Throughout their lives, they carry with them a certain inner peace that is hard to find elsewhere, and tend to be level-headed voices of reason. They are generally thought to be keenly self-aware and thoughtful, as well as careful planners with great attention to detail. It is also not uncommon for them to have a strong connection to the spirit world, and an uncanny way with horses.

Constellations
Concord bears many of its own constellations, crafted over ages, attached to many stories, beliefs, legends, and myths from many cultures. This is to serve as an overview of the stars, as well as some of the mythos attached to them.
Mortanna
The Carriage.

Created in the honor of the goddess, Mortanne, the carriage is featured in many fables and legends. Should a protagonist in a myth die, or the myth be a retrospective of the life lived by it's hero, the Carriage will always appear to guide them to wait awaits them after.
Gildas
The Brush.

Though there are many iterations of the story, the legend tied to Gildas most often follows an artist by the same name, blessed by Serannai to be a master of his craft. Light of spirit and hand, he breathed color into the world everywhere he ventured. Fables of his life often include struggles against perfectionism, comparison and the way it wounds the creative spirit, and the inspiration that lies in the nature.
Wylet
The Lark.

An honored animal among sun elves, and the protagonist of many fables, the Lark is known for quick wit and curiosity. Wylet is a specific name that reoccurs often in different fables, and despite various stories, is always described as "a little bird, blessed by the sun with a face of gold."
Verdas
The Willow.

A collection of stars as a tribute to Celestine, a thriving willow tree is often seen as a sign of favor from the autumnal goddess. Scholars are debating the origin of the name Verdas, and are uncertain if it was an old, defunct term for willows themselves, the name of a prominent willow-keeper, or a dryad who took the shape of one.
Hirymm
The Wyrm.

Based on a particular myth that has been thought to originate from the Emerald Isles, the myth of Hirymm focuses on a dragon who seeks to rule a kingdom of gold. He was beloved by the people, and with no next of kin, the throne was set to be his. Upon learning there was a heir by blood, however, his jovial demeanor turns cruel and jealous. Hirymm attempts to conspire with one of the royal advisors to assassinate the heir, but fails - and, in his failure, one of his heads is slain. With his plot revealed, he flees the golden kingdom, never to be seen again.
Lace
The Arrow.

Though accounts vary, this constellation refers to a moon elf archer who visited Victoria's Crossing as an emissary from her skyhold. What had been hoped to be a peaceful, diplomatic visit turned sour when she witnessed the decaying state of the people under the crown, having been beaten down and neglected by their ruler. The following night, before she was to return home, she used her skill as a bowman to wait until the king stepped out onto one of the balconies over his gardens, and felled him with a single arrow. None in the kingdom, nor the people of her home, have ever been able or willing to say what became of her.
Eves
The Eye.

The origin of the name is unknown, and subject to much debate over if it's a name belonging to a lost myth, or a misunderstanding passed through the ages of the word "Eyes." In any legends it appears in, however, it is often considered to be a looking glass of sorts, from which the Goddesses may view the world.
Nindrae
The Silver Sister.

A memorial constellation to one considered one of Kora's most devout. Nindrae was a sun elf and a buccaneer, abandoning her role of privateer aboard a royal vessel to chase freedom. She quickly gained a reputation for waging fierce battles on the ships of slavers - and, along with this reputation, comes the rumor that she controlled a leviathan to sink the ships and their crews after she brought the captives aboard her vessel. The means of her control over the leviathan are yet unknown, but the imagery of and her sea beast have been forever intertwined, creating depictions of her as a siren or some other arrangement, always with a piscine tail.
Tarasula
The Spider.

A cherished figure in many dark elf fables, Tarasula represents calculated intelligence, measured power, and earned wisdom. The Spider knows how best to sit and wait, and when the best opportunity to strike is. In many fables, Tarasula takes the shape as a poised aging widow, who offers the protagonist advice along their journeys.
Vex
The Bat.

Beloved in orcish fables, Vex is associated with intuition, creativity, free-spirited natures, and a strong connection to one's home. Stories with the Bat as its hero are often told to orc children to instill them with both an enthusiasm to see the world, and a comfort in being able to return home, as well as describe the world around them through the many travels of the Bat.
Brynn
The Shield.

Once a shieldmaiden for a king of the Emerald Isles, little is known about Brynn as the person she once was. Most historical accounts describe her as stern and humorless. What has followed her as a legacy, however, was her onslaught on the castle of a grand magus who's name has been lost to time, who had stolen her wife away among others to perform eldritch magic. Brynn's conquering of the mage's small fortress was relentless, and her one-woman siege only lasted a night before she slew the grand magus. In modern days, people profess their love by proclaiming it beneath the constellation Brynn, as a promise of unmatched dedication and loyalty.
Vulyn
The Fox.

The favored animal of high elf fables, the constellation is so named for a legend of a high elf mage who would use her magic to take the shape of a fox and use her cunning to achieve several feats. Among these feats are equal parts trickery and justice, and her likeness is featured in both myths regaling her heroics, and cautionary tales.
Hesvell
The Cockatrice.

Not only immortalized as a constellation, but also as a statue in the town he once resided in, Hesvell was a cockatrice brought up by a hill-dwarven farmer. The legend states that his master reared him from a chick and doted on the bird, considering it a child he'd never had. The farmer was later tried and convicted for a crime he did not commit, however, and was sentenced to death. The cockatrice, in its grief, rampaged viciously, and amid its attacks, slew the very sheriff that put its master to death. Though its anguish could not be quelled, the people were free of the corrupt sheriff, and immortalized the cockatrice as a symbol of righteousness and justice against wrongdoing in both steel and stars.
Minmi
The Cat.

Though Minmi was a catfolk, her prominence has made cats a favored protagonist in many human fables, alongside dogs. In her life, Minmi was a bard who wrote sonnets and ballads to the goddesses. Accounts of her life state that she often boasted that Serranai was not only her patron, but a lover of hers. Unfortunately, as is often the fate of beastfolk in legends, her likeness often takes form as only a domestic cat, but the stories of her life live on.
Dipodomys
The Rat.

Though unverified to have been truly lived by historians, Dipodomys is based on the legend of a man who was cursed to be a rat by a skilled mage for crud and callous remarks, casting him away to a city he'd never lived in. The legend chronicles his journey back to the mage and the understanding of his errors to earn back his humanity. The distance proved too great to cross, however - and, eventually, Dipodomys learned to find acceptance of what he had become, as another phase of his life.
Mesomelas
The Black Dog.

The Black Dog takes on many roles in many fables, making its place among the stars unsurprising. Though its often depicted as a guardian of the dead in graveyards, tombs, and crypts, its also depicted as being the coachdog of Mortanne, running alongside her carriage to keep the vessels of the souls in motion safe from any would-be harm.
Libetanas
The Tome.

A book that is the prize of many legends, said to grant immortality to any who read the passages within. Newer stories have begun to question if this is a blessed or a cursed object, but none yet have settled either way. One thing is certain, at least: the book is noteworthy enough to those in the past to warrant a place in the stars.
Everttinus
The Reaching Hand.

A symbol of hope, created by many downtrodden, and a symbol widely embraced by the Hands of Dusk. It's said to be seen by those who need hope above all else in their times of need. Related local legends have not yet been discovered - there's a possibility it was made simply for need of hope and a helping hand.
