Previous games have had: 1. Cured (1 time I believe) 2. Contained via magic/spell/barrier (3 times) - 1 of these still had it transmittable by kissing/sex and 2 didn't.
Honestly, fine with whatever you'd like. Cure's the simplest, but contained to potentially fail later can be useful for body horror shenanigans at a later date. And of course, I'm open to other ways to control it!
