Eddie smiles over that comment about chicken taming. "They do like their warmth."

Eddie's expression goes more serious as he speaks about the locket. "Milo received a note saying something was buried on my property. We found another letter in the box, and went to check out the abandoned cabins for that mentioned 'anchor'... and found a locket. We wanted to keep it secret because someone sent him that letter anonymously."

Eddie takes a breath. "He was keeping those things safe on his farm, and I meant to ask you about it... but then he was gone, and I hid the locket and letters here. Then... things just kept happening and... the famine and the aurora problem seemed more important, but... here you are now."
