Dabi is still in César's face, seething. Panting through clenched teeth even as he watches every move the other makes. When he doesn't seem to fight against the slender man, Dabi starts to calm. Then César is telling him to breath, reassuring him. He calls her Magne, not even the heroes had the decency to call her by her chosen name. He's reassured that she has a job and friends...she's accepted there. Hell she apparently has a boyfriend.

There's so much he wants to say, his mind is spinning, but he does finally take a step back, letting go of César's front. There are more than likely burn holes from the tips of his fingers but Dabi doesn't really give a fuck.

He has to take a few steadying breaths, remembering muttered instructions Toga would give Twice when it got too bad for him. When next he opens his eyes and looks at César, the gaze is still heated but the flame is tempered now.

"Lead the way, lover boy. If you're lying, you're charcoal."
