For the most part Dabi does in fact try his best not to singe the strangers feathers, after all for now they're working together and the bird is holding his own and keeping shit off Dabi. So he's more careful with his flames as they go on, more precise. Though he doesn't exactly call out anything, he just moves and attacks while weaving around the stranger.
