YORICK ABERDEEN

Mayor Poe's helpful assistant Yorick Aberdeen is always happy to lend a hand with anything she or anyone else needs. Whether it's greeting newcomers at the dock, fetching a cup of coffee for someone in Town Hall, providing directions, or getting suckered into hauling firewood for Miss Leeds, if Yorick doesn't have time then he will gladly make it. An unfortunate result of his inability to say no, combined with his overall clumsiness and poor decision-making, is that he is incredibly danger-prone. Presently he holds the island's record for most deaths in a single month. Despite this, he remains cheerful and chatty, and always has a story to share. He also seems particularly fond of the mayor, though it's unclear to what extent.

Yorick is 34 years old and was born on April 1st. He is an Aries and a Spring.

DAHLIA LEEDS

rich, brilliant, beautiful, doomed

Born and raised in Pumpkin Hollow, Dahlia is the heiress to the illustrious manor of the family who founded the town and the youngest of thirteen siblings. Her very birth would portend misfortune, as her mother died in childbirth and each of her family members would perish one by one throughout her life, leaving behind only Dahlia. It is believed that she was only spared due to the curse of deathlessness placed on the island before her fate could claim her, but who's to say? These days, Dahlia spends her time working hard on the Town Council, running the Pumpkin Hollow Historical Society, or sequestered in her estate which overlooks the town. Gregarious, scholarly, and helpful, but with a distant aura.

Dahlia is 23 years old and she was born on the 21st of September. She is a Virgo and an Autumn.

NEIL WEST

livin' the dream

Originally from the mainland, Neil came over from a neighboring country in search of a place that would be receptive to his unique brand of psychological treatment. His practice, "West Dream Analytics," used to operate out of a clinic in town but has since been moved to his house for financial reasons. His paranormal abilities and his rejection of the church haven't gained him much favor, but he has genuinely helped many people with his unusual therapeutic methods. His organization, the Ocularum, also meets at West Dream Analytics and has some interesting ideas about how to counteract the island's curse. In spite of his somewhat mixed reputation, Neil is a jovial and patient person with a gentle demeanor.

Neil is 38 years old and was born on June 12th. He is a Gemini and a Summer.

ELIAS COLDWOOD

Like Ships in the Night

Dr. Elias Coldwood is an occult scientist and paranormal biologist, as well as a former seafarer whose vessel crashed on Marrow Isle some years ago. With the loss of his crew, he found purpose in researching the oddities of the island, and continues to study the strange lifeforms and magic found. He has shockingly little regard for his personal wellbeing but is an incredibly talented mage and boundlessly enthusiastic researcher. It is also noteworthy that he and Neil West were previously married but have since divorced. He's a bit cagey on the details about that.

Elias' age is not widely known, but he was born on April 9th. He is an Aries and a Spring.

The Goddesses of this world, as they are worshipped by the Temple of Sacred Roots and its followers, are very much real and can be quite responsive for the right people, under the right circumstances. Each represents a season of the year and a realm of the world (Land, Sea, Sky, Beyond). Every person has one goddess with whom they could find a degree of resonance, if they so desire. The frazzled and well-intentioned mayor of Pumpkin Hollow who is loved and pitied in equal measure. When not at town hall attempting to manage the mayhem, Mayor Poe can typically be found on her porch swing at home, drinking a hot cup of coffee and questioning her life choices. Despite the trouble, though, Hellen is a capable leader and very cool under fire. She also genuinely loves her home, quirks and all. Resourceful, caring, determined, and a lot of fun to talk to on the rare occasion where she's had enough sleep. Back when she had a modicum of free time she even used to paint! Perhaps the influx of new residents to help support the town can finally assuage a few of her worries.

DEGAS CLAYTON

Degas Clayton was not always the reverend of the Temple of Sacred Roots. Once just a member of the congregation, Degas' tranquil demeanor, gentle charisma, and penchant for fatherly advice made him the clear choice when his predecessor mysteriously went missing. He was extremely reluctant to take on this role, but when the goddesses call upon you for your services, it's deeply discouraged to refuse. Degas is first and foremost a family man despite the fact that his family is no longer present on the island. Therefore he is very likely to create family for himself among the people around him. If you're looking for sound advice, a shoulder to lean on, or a riveting story about days gone by, Degas will gladly provide.

Hear something in the trees? Feel like you're being watched in the forest? While it's entirely possible that you're about to be attacked by some manner of monsters, if you feel a less threatening presence then your audience may well be the elusive Elsie. Precious little about her is known by the general public, but most are aware that she leads a group of forest-dwelling societal rejects that rarely interact with the rest of the town. Capricious and fae-like, she also has a reputation for being a bit of a prankster and having a fondness for shiny trinkets. It is difficult to gain her trust or that of her followers. However, the fruits of this endeavor may well prove worth the effort. Leave a gift or letter at the Gathering Tree, and you may yet have some luck.

Theodore Pennyburrow is a fox beastkin from a town called Cahoots (which is a very fun place to say that one is in) and was born into a family of lawyers with no aptitude for legal work, making him the most charming family disappointment in the Emerald Isles. He currently running the Autumn Leaves Boarding House for children without guardians and is well loved by the youngsters staying there. Upbeat and friendly, he is every child's favorite teacher and guardian. Yes, you may pet him. Respectfully. And just a little bit. Don't go overboard.

Teddy is 38 years old and he was born on September 8th. He is a Virgo and an Autumn.

In nearly equal measure to the goddesses, this island is influenced by demons and their ilk. And each of them has domain over a certain vice or societal ill, which they seek to feed. These demons can also aid you with magical boons, and can offer much more extravagant gifts. Owner of Calloway's Curios, Calloway is a charming charlatan who has a mysterious aptitude for finding useful artifacts from faraway worlds--- including yours. He sells items at obscenely high price points, but how else are you going to get your favorite weapon or sentimental jewelry back?

Juniper Sweetwater is the owner of Sweetwater Sounds, a local music shop, where she works as an artisan maker of stringed instruments. She is also a performer in her own right and will often play the dulcimer and sing during events. Juniper is one of the few Wood Elves in Pumpkin Hollow and is generally well-liked by her neighbors.

Captain Nyle Booth is a former naval officer who came to Pumpkin Hollow to settle down as a fisherman. He is the captain of the Copper Coin, a well-established fishing vessel running out of Jack's Marina. He is stern but does enjoy gambling if the stakes aren't too high. He's been working too hard for too long to lose a bunch of money on a game of chance.

AERYN SALLEK

Mx. Sallek is a local alchemist and potion-seller with a whimsical air to them. They're half-Sun Elf and it definitely shows during the winter time, as they rarely leave their shop when it's cold. Friendly with the medical staff. Incredibly clever, but lacks a filter and is frequently clumsy or forgetful.

As the Chief Constable of Pumpkin Hollow and head of the Pumpkin Hollow Board of Safety, all Enforcers report to her in some capacity. Once a bright-eyed defender of the people, the constant tragedy of Pumpkin Hollow has turned her into a bitter watchdog.

Until recently, she was the only physician on Marrow Isle and was profoundly overworked. She is now happily retired but still helps with business aspects of running Winterbottom Clinic as she's able. Her immortal cat, Thomas, just turned 25.

A dwarven candymaker of the Hill Clan, Ambrose is a veteran of the Royal Military of Braxtony during the Marchbanks Expansion, a historical event he is loathe to describe. He came to Pumpkin Hollow to escape that part of his life and focus on bringing joy to others through his family's tried and true candy recipes.

Local fashion designer, tailor, and chairwoman of the Artisan's Guild. Her shop is where you will undoubtedly purchase most of your clothing. While she employs a number of talented tailors beneath her, she is an exceptional seamstress in her own right. Her shop also offers formalwear rentals for events, much to her dismay.

A lone sphinx living in Paradesium. She once loved a dwarven priest who lived in the underground city that now lies in ruin there. Now that her long lost love has been laid to rest according to his religious rites, she feels a lot better.

Daphne
Marquise of Lust

A member of the Court of the Dark Feast, Daphne holds domain over the exploitation of the female body and sexual desire for profit. She is able to multiply herself infinitely, but each copy becomes progressively weaker until she returns to a single form.

NIGHTINGALE
Earl of Blood

A member of the Court of the Dark Feast, Nightingale holds domain over acts of egregious violence and sadistic euphoria. He is, for all intents and purposes, Aster's muscle. He's also a very good chef despite his massive, clawed hands.

CLAUNTHE
Duchess of Debt

A member of the Court of the Dark Feast, Claunthe is a relatively minor player in the infernal hierarchy but is working her way up by feeding her domain in Pumpkin Hollow. Nicknamed "Our Lady of Legbreakers", she holds domain over everything you can't afford, and what you'll do to get it. Additionally, Claunthe is the mother of Deirdre Breugaire and has her own inbox.

CASPIAN
Duke of Heartbreakers

A member of the Court of Betrayal, Caspian serves King Eligos as an incubus. His preferred tactic is to love them and leave them, treating his victims as cherished lovers and fulfilling their deepest desires, then feeding of the pain they feel when he vanishes. He can also take on other appearances, painting the faces of past lovers or unrequited crushes on his blank face. He is also the biological father of Dawn, the tiefling daughter of Tarantulas (a player character).

Nephera
Margravine of Temptation

A succubus in the Court of Betrayal, Nephera's goal is to tempt others to unfaithfulness to their partner, or at least create the illusion of it. She will be whatever you want, whatever you need, whatever you think you need--- whatever it takes to lure you in.

Daanon
Lord of Cutthroats

A member of the Court of Betrayal, Daanon often operates effectively as a incubus and courtesan, but his true domain is that of the opportunistic oathbreaker, the scavenger, the ones who stab their friends in the back merely because the opportunity to undercut them arose.

Reyelle
Duchess of the Neverloved

A member of the Court of Betrayal, Reyelle sometimes operates in the capacity of a succubus, but only because it is conducive to her domain over the heartless lover, manipulative friend, or selfish parent. She represents all who play pretend at love so they can see through the cracks in your armor into your soul, and use the deepest parts of you for personal gain.

A member of the Court of Fools, Seemingly is a mysterious demon with a rotating head that bears four masks. Each face has its own name, voice, personality, and gender identity. Seemingly's domain is that of the intangible, the ever-shifting, the abstract, the falsehood built on the incomplete pictures built by a million minds that is reality.

Baroness of Blank

This member of the Court of Fools has not yet been introduced, but she holds domain over lost memories, forgotten items, and slippery minds.

Smiling Jack
Killer comedian

Not a demon, but in fact a malevolent spirit that serves under the Court of Fools in return for a physical form. He is the subject of a folktale that Dahlia enjoys telling and enjoys using his corporeal form to commit violence and tell horrible jokes.

Baritone
Viscount of Suffering

A member of the Court of Sorrow's Song, Baritone had his body mutilated and filled with pipes. His singing voice sounds like an orchestra and every note is excruciatingly painful. He represents pointless agony, pain without meaning.

Sonata
Contessa of false comfort

A member of the Court of Sorrow's Song, Sonata represents the creeping guilt of pointless distractions in times of suffering, and the fresh pain of grief that follows when the moment of reprieve ends.

Father of Pumpkin Hollow

Played by Christoph Waltz.

Dahlia's late father, Japhet was the patriarch of the massive Leeds family and the founder of Pumpkin Hollow. He died just before the barrier went up, having been eaten by the Pine Devil.

O Mother, where art thou?

Played by Patricia Clarkson.

The late mother of all thirteen Leeds children. She died giving birth to Dahlia, the youngest of her children.

Henry Leeds
Double Tap

Played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

One of Jane and Japhet's children. Henry was one of the oldest and one of the last to pass away, and ran a monster-hunting company while he was alive. He died in the line of duty.

Harriet Leeds-Brenning
Down with her ship

Played by Imogen Poots.

One of Jane and Japhet's children. She was, in her time, the youngest mayor in the history of Pumpkin Hollow. She died during the island's first Parade Day.

Linette Brenning
Paper Horses

Played by Emmy Rossum.

Harriet's late wife and alchemist. Her ghost has been known to appear to those that can see them around the cemetery. She went missing, and the circumstances of her death are unknown.

Jonah Leeds
Look Alive

Played by Jordan Prentice.

The second-youngest Leeds sibling, and one of Dahlia's closest confidantes. Well known for his adventurous spirit, he was constantly on some daring excursion into the wilderness. Notably, he was a human with medical dwarfism (as opposed to being a member of the dwarven species) and had a lot of specialized equipment that contributes to Pumpkin Hollow's accessibility technology even still.

Samuel Leeds
Spirited Conversationalist

Played by Cole Sprouse.

Yet another one of the Leeds clan, Samuel died relatively young. He was very sick from a young age and spent much of his life battling illness. He now exists as a chatty spirit outside his family's mausoleum. If you can see ghosts, drop him a line.

Merrick Gladwyn
Spoke for the Trees

Played by Collin Farell.

The priest who led the Temple of Sacred Roots prior to Degas. A very well-respected member of the community who was like a father and brother to many. He was the victim of a grisly murder apparently performed by cultists.
