[Letter]
Greetings.
We have not met but it seems our interests align. I too have been keeping notes about the plant and animal life on this island. Though I've only been here a few months I've already noticed some changes in what's present - perhaps coinciding with the seasons though I can't be sure of that. More research is likely needed.
I'd like to compare notes with what you have as your observations are clearly more complete and thorough than my own. Although I'm a proponent that any knowledge is worthwhile, I'm curious if you anticipate this information being of some help in solving the underlying situation that's keeping us here? Is there anything specific you suggest I focus on?

Hello Imbros,
It's always wonderful to hear that others have begun to observe the life of Marrow Isle! I would be happy to compare my findings with your own and see if we're able to reach any new conclusions between them. Though my studies of the wildlife did not stem from trying to address the inner workings of the island's curse and the barrier's presence, I do believe that the changes shown by our natural world must, to some degree, reflect what is happening. I will be able to show you in greater detail in my extended writings, of course, but there have been a great deal of creatures appearing on the island that hadn't been native to it before. Surely that must mean something?
I have a great deal of journals and encyclopedias that I've compiled, so if it would be alright with you, I believe arranging a meeting for further information sharing would be for the best! You are welcome to come to my home and personal study, or I could pick what I believe to be my most relevant texts and bring them to the Greymare Library for your perusal. Let me know what would work best for you, and we'll arrange a time and date!
I hope the days are treating you well, and I'm looking very forward to discussing further.
P.S. I have added a few clippings of my spare charts for some of the locations that I've found strange, non-native fauna. Perhaps these could be of note?
Yours truly,
Dr. Elias Coldwood

There's no greeting this time, he just gets right to it, which for him is an indication they're now equals.]
I agree with you. If things are changing, even if it's new plants that aren't native, there's a reason for it. Be it birds travelling from a different location and distributing them, the weather changing to allow long dormant seeds to germinate or something else. And for those that migrate they must be going somewhere in the off season. Are they able to pass the barrier or are they simply somewhere on the island not fully explored? I'm told there's a promising location for such things, I believe it was called Paradesium?
Though I think there's value in starting small, sometimes the big picture obscures the finer details. I'll look into these areas you've indicated and return to you with my findings.
I'd be delighted to meet and exchange knowledge and notes! I'm in the library a few times a week so that would work out perfectly.
I shall see what I can uncover in the meantime.

I'm incredibly glad that you agree! While I do not care to neglect the bigger picture, it's often these finer details that make it up, no? I've not noticed any birds passing through the barrier, though I do wonder if any could make it; perhaps it would be in our best interest to attempt to place some identification upon individuals of a few assorted species before their migration begins?
We'll discuss more in detail in person! I look forward to hearing your reports back. I'll be stopping by the library over the next several days in the afternoons to catalogue my findings and sort my papers. Do feel free to come chat!
