What is Drop-to-NPC?
Characters that are considered Drop-to-NPC are characters who are not being played full-time by their players, but have had an integral role to the game and the town of Pumpkin Hollow - thus, instead of being fully dropped and disappearing off the island, some players will opt to have their characters become "set dressing" for the town, continuing their roles and their relationships in an off-screen capacity.

If one of these characters would like to be played by a new player, we recommend contacting the player who DTNPC'd their character, and determine the best path forward in a hand-off or clean slate. If any assistance is needed with this process, feel free to reach out to a mod, or send a PM to the mod journal, and we'll gladly help out!


What are Infernal Servants?
Characters that are brought in as villains by one of the Demon Royals is considered an Infernal Servant, remaining as part of the game in a limited capacity by the choice of the players. They are bound by demonic contract, but receive a bredth of new abilities and potential ways to interact with the plot as a result.


What are Special Characters?
Any character that is technically taken, but did not arrive to Pumpkin Hollow normally, and was brought in through another means, is considered a Special Character. These don't show up too frequently, but are important to have noted down when they do!
