BANK LEDGERS

This is also where you submit special purchase requests. Whenever you want to buy something not listed in the shops, such as a custom item that doesn’t have a specified price, you will need to make a purchase request to have a price issued to you. Special items that must be acquired through the Shady Merchant can be requested here and purchased here. You will also need to inform the bank when you upgrade your home or business, change jobs, or start a new business!

However, for non-upgrade items with predetermined prices such as your grocery budget, you can just add them to your ledger without making a formal request. This also includes items with previously determined prices as found in the buyer's guide.

Various Purchases

Clothing

A simple outfit, distinctly menswear, for 50 Brass; technically doesn't need to be in this request but I prefer to have it here for completeness. Includes a heavy cloak. The first tailor that tries to tell River she can't buy it can and will be decked across the face.

Spell Components

Various things River wants and/or needs to work her magic, including:

- Corn meal

- Animal bones (for carving into wands)

- Semi-precious gems & crystals (onyx, quartz, and amethyst)

- Tarnished silver shavings (the more ruined the better)

- Pure silver shavings

- A stone with a naturally occurring hole

Weapons & Tools

So the job's page implied a discount for being a blacksmith but did not actually say how much, so:

- A spatha ("bastard sword"); weapon.

- A skinning knife

- An eating knife

The NSFW Portion, I Am Not Sorry, I Will Do This Again

- Lube

- Condoms (guess what invention is older than nearly everyone thinks)

- Cleaning supplies (related to the lube, don't make me say it explicitly, these are also older than nearly everyone thinks)

Clothing: No one in the Emerald Isles is even remotely concerned by River's clothing preferences. Queerphobia is Literally Illegal (probably, at the very least it's against the game's rules). Outfit will include a simple cotton shirt and work trousers in solid colors, the aforementioned cloak, and some sturdy but thrifted second-hand shoes (work boots, riding-style boots, loafers, your choice).

Spell Components: As magic is uncommon but still a Thing That Happens in this world, there is a small and somewhat cramped witchcraft and alchemy shop that will sell small crystals, scrying stones, and pieces or shavings of precious metals They don't have tarnished ones, but they recommend checking with the thrift shop for some old silverware and finding a good rock to rub on vigorously. Animal bones can be found by the fistful completely for free in the forest. Corn meal can come from groceries after River's first AC. All told, the odds and ends that she will need to actually buy will run her about 50B.

Tools and Weapons: The sword will be 100B and the knives will be 20 a pop.

Huh. Weapons had been labeled from 100-200 so I wasn't sure how that'd go, but Noted. Looks like a current purchase total of 250, slightly more than River has (by 50); this'll be solved once AC goes up, but would you prefer I wait and then slam it into the ledger, or nah?

I apologize, I overlooked the line about River's being a blacksmith. I'd be willing to negotiate the sword to 70 and the knives to 15.

If my math is right that will still be 10 more than she has, but if you'd like to go ahead and put her in the red for a few days, I'll allow it.
