This is also where you submit special purchase requests. Whenever you want to buy something not listed in the shops, such as a custom item that doesn’t have a specified price, you will need to make a purchase request to have a price issued to you. Special items that must be acquired through the Shady Merchant can be requested here and purchased here. You will also need to inform the bank when you upgrade your home or business, change jobs, or start a new business!

However, for non-upgrade items with predetermined prices such as your grocery budget, you can just add them to your ledger without making a formal request. This also includes items with previously determined prices as found in the buyer's guide.

E.G.O. Equipment

More or less putting this in ahead of time in case the funds are not currently available, but looking to regain two specific pieces of E.G.O. equipment from Lobotomy Corporation since LobCorp has been more relevant to Jean here thus far than the Library has been ("thus far" being the key words, but still). Descriptions follow.

Name: Cobalt Scar (Weapons)
Description: A pair of gloves with werewolf-like claws, covered in cobalt blue fur and scatterings of scars; their fingers are soaked in blood (visual reference). In Jean's canon, this E.G.O. weapon would be rated to fight the City's advanced armor as well as supernatural horrors that cannot be, though see below.
Notes: Cobalt Scar deals RED damage, attacking the body rather than the mind or spirit, and leaves clinging wounds that deal additional damage over time. If the user is sufficiently wounded (in the canon, 50% or lower health), their attacks gain a sweeping area of effect & damage bonus, but also harm everyone in that area rather than only hostile targets. Cobalt Scar causes the corrosion noted in Jean's Statement to Jon, linked to the Big And Will Be Bad Wolf.

Name: Cobalt Scar (Suit)
Description: So you know that thing where cyberpunk stories turn business suits into armor?
Notes: Cobalt Scar displays extreme resistance to direct attacks on the body in the form of an exaggerated healing factor, influencing both itself and the wearer. It is much less effective as armor against attacks on the mind or both the mind and body (in the game, cutting off only 20% and 30% of those damage types, explicitly). It is especially weak (in the canon, take 3 times the damage) to direct attacks against Jean's soul or life force. Cobalt Scar causes the corrosion noted in Jean's Statement to Jon, linked to the Big And Will Be Bad Wolf.

Speargun

Delta is looking for a weapon to take down some sea cave monsters and is hoping to get his hands on a speargun. If he gets his hands on one of these fully upgraded babies, that'd be pretty darn sexy. And also maybe three spears.

Dive Equipment

Delta is looking for equipment to help him explore and haul things in from the shallows! He's looking to get:

- A 100 meter distance Line (probably waxed natural fibers vs the nylons you see in the wiki)

- A rectangular lobster trap (to be modified into portable salvage store. And also for carrying lobsters when he finds them.)

- Two medium wooden buoys

- A diving knife

- A big canvas sack for hauling things

Once Jean has a little brass in pocket from his work, he'd like to acquire a pair of small well-balanced hatchets. Sized to fit under a coat, balanced for throwing as well as being held in his hands. Something similar as possible to his Wicked Sisters back home.

A simple outfit, distinctly menswear, for 50 Brass; technically doesn't need to be in this request but I prefer to have it here for completeness. Includes a heavy cloak. The first tailor that tries to tell River she can't buy it can and will be decked across the face.

Spell Components

Various things River wants and/or needs to work her magic, including:

- Corn meal

- Animal bones (for carving into wands)

- Semi-precious gems & crystals (onyx, quartz, and amethyst)

- Tarnished silver shavings (the more ruined the better)

- Pure silver shavings

- A stone with a naturally occurring hole

Weapons & Tools

So the job's page implied a discount for being a blacksmith but did not actually say how much, so:

Eddie's planning on fencing off the section of land that he's initially growing on. I figured a 50 sq. ft. plot would work, so that's 200 feet of fencing. As it stands, I'm estimating a need for:
40 wooden posts
80 planks (each five feet in length), and
160 nails.

And I know I should go to our blacksmith for the nails, so the question becomes how much money to throw at River. ;)

One other question: Are supplies like flour, milk, butter, and sugar (or honey) included in the basic grocery package? If anything isn't, can Eddie purchase it separately?

This everyday fit which will have his patches from Annabel Lee attached to the vest. (Classic, 200B)

This formal fit for the gala ( the coat is long, duster length), along with a few necklaces, some black leather gloves, and some nice dress boots. (Lavish, on sale for 375B)

And with his last 25 brass, some random odds and ends to make herbal hair dye and however many packs of cheap cigarettes he can swing.

E.G.O. Weapon (Gift)

Per plotting discussions on the matter, I present to you:

Name: Solemn Lament (Weapon)

Description: A pair of pistols, one white, one black, inscribed with butterflies. Though they appear to have all the proper parts of a gun, they neither use nor accept ammunition, and cannot be reloaded - the guns simply fire. Like Cobalt Scar, these weapons would be rated to fight quite advanced and powerful creatures in Jean's canon, as well as the City's absurd arms and armor.

Notes: The white pistol deals WHITE damage, attacking the mind; the black pistol deals BLACK damage, attacking both the body and the mind. Against things that don't have a meaningfully human sanity, WHITE damage is just damage, and will eventually kill them. Against humans or anything meaningfully close to them (see: most entities that could be a player character), WHITE damage will drain their sanity if they're currently in control of themselves, or restore their sanity if they are not in control. In Jean's canon, applications of WHITE damage can reverse possessions, charms, weird cordyceps-like effects, etc so forth. It probably still hurts like a bitch.

Like Cobalt Scar and all other E.G.O. equipment, Solemn Lament can cause E.G.O. corrosion and subjects the user to the voice of Funeral of the Dead Butterflies, whose entry is included here to provide ideas for what it wants and how it thinks. You may notice that the damage listed for Solemn Lament looks low; it's not, but explaining why would involve multiple paragraphs of deep cut game math so if you would REALLY like to know just hit me up on Discord and I will tell you entirely too much about how LobCorp calculates damage.

For Lucas:
- 200B: One set of classic clothing in the usual style of the town, dark blue vest with khaki pants and a decent pair of shoes, suspenders, an overcoat and a dashing little newsie style hat for funsies. No embellishments and bog standard in terms of materials used.
- 300B: One Stylish outfit that looks like this one!. It's fairly plain but has much nicer cloths used and a nice set of shoes.


For Mo'rtajha:
- 375 Brass due to Gala Sale: One dress/pant outfit in the style of her homeland like in this screenshot!

Chris would like to currently purchase a Simple Outfit, but also get a price check on a Custom piece for the future.

Simple Outfit: Ladies Blouse (plain or striped, they're not picky) and a Walking Skirt in green. Hopefully some slippers can be substituted for any lace-up shoes? I hope these example pieces fit the "Simple" idea.
